After graduation I stayed at teh University Dental Hospital treating difficult cases and teaching students. I also worked in a private practice. I have worked closely with a number of dental specialists including periodontists, implantologists and endodontists. I am willing to accept patients on referral for private endodontic treatment including re-treatment, advanced restorative treatment and cosmetic dentistry. I assist the implantologist during the surgical stages and I complete the restorative work after osseo-integration has taken place. I am a member of the British Endondontic Society.'
CAROLINE PARMENTER - Hygienist
CEB Cert in Dental Hygiene 1972, London, 1972
GDC No. 908
'I qualified at Guy’s Hospital, London in 1972. I stayed on as staff hygienist for a short while before working in a variety of practices in London, Essex and Cambridge, both NHS and private. I believe that regular maintenance of the teeth and gingivae are a very important part of dental care. Good oral hygiene means a clean, healthy mouth. Excellent oral hygiene is especially important if you have fixed orthodontic appliances. These can be difficult to clean, but with the correct brushing instruction it is so much easier. I will thoroughly clean the teeth and help your patients to prevent gum disease by demonstrating how to care for their teeth and gingivae, and providing dietary advice. Under your prescription, each patient will be given a tailor-made plan to suit his or her own individual needs. With regular hygiene appointments and correct home care, it is possible to keep your teeth for life.'
